Weatherdock AG is a leading manufacturer of electronic safety and navigation devices for the shipping industry. These are used in pleasure boating, as well as commercial shipping and also in public authorities. In 2003 the company was founded by the three board members as a privately owned public corporation. The Weatherdock AG has its headquarter in Nuremberg, where the development of all products takes place. The production takes place at other locations, but only in Germany. Alfred Kotouczek-Zeise, Jürgen Zimmermann and Wolfgang Werner, the three board members, are managing the company.
Weatherdock is managed by using modern management, methods and software tools, continuing the experience gained by the management in large international companies, prior to the founding of Weatherdock AG.
